It’s time to start asking the question. This question and many of the same kind. Where were you? Who did you talk to? How much of the day did you spend writing legislation?
Effectively, did you do you job today? The same question that every hard working American is held to every day of their life.
We go out of our way to vote for members of Congress every two years and then we get back to our addiction to being offended. We never ask for accountability because we just accept that they don’t do their job because of “the opposition”. That can’t be good enough.
We can write a tweet in 30 seconds. We can pay a bill in less than a minute online.
There is no reason why we can’t demand a daily recap of our elected officials life to be posted to their website.
There is no reason why we can’t demand an audited financial recap of both their everyday operations and their campaign and miscellaneous accounts.
